Volunteer Engagement Coordinator
Role: The Corporate/Group Volunteer Coordinator manages all aspects of the corporate and group volunteer engagement at La Soupe. This role is responsible for scheduling, onboarding, and delivering a high-quality experience for group volunteers while supporting the revenue-generating opportunities in partnership with the Philanthropy team.
Reports to: Director of Volunteer Engagement, Mykayla Kroeger
Payroll type: Hourly (non-exempt)
Availability/Hours: Part-time, 3-4 days depending on La Soupe Volunteer needs, 20-25 hours per week

● Manage daily volunteer scheduling for group shifts
● Ensure seamless planning and execution of group volunteer shifts
● Manage outreach and onboarding logistics for groups
● Deliver training and orientation with the Manager of Volunteer Engagement for group volunteers
● Ensure a positive, engaging, and impactful volunteer experience
● Support relationship building with returning groups
● Partner with the Volunteer Champions to recognize and retain group volunteers
● Manage day-to-day communications with groups.
Skills and Education:
● 1-3 years of experience in volunteer management, nonprofit operations, or related field
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing priorities
● Ability to learn and master volunteer management software (currently Duplie and Food Rescue US)

Compensation:
$19.00-22.00/hour
