About La Soupe: La Soupe is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in the Cincinnati neighborhood of Walnut Hills.  It is the largest chef-led initiative in Ohio that bridges the gap between food waste and insecurity. Our chef-based model utilizes a large volunteer network to rescue perishables from farms, grocers, and wholesalers. Our highly talented Transform Team of chefs and volunteers transforms this food into healthy soups and meals. Our education team works with individuals experiencing food insecurity to build culinary skills and self-sufficiency across stages of life.  Our Food is Medicine Program provides healthy options catered to individuals experiencing food insecurity and chronic illness who require specific diet modifications.  These items are distributed to roughly 100 share partners across the Tri-State area that feed the food insecure.

Did you know La Soupe’s incredible volunteers contributed over 16,000 hours last year?

Our work simply wouldn’t be possible without their time, energy, and heart. If you’re passionate about building community and enjoy working with a dynamic, dedicated, and diverse group of people who are making a real difference, we’d love to have you on our team.
